The DSG India is founded and led by Akhilesh Tewari, a social development professional with 28 years of experience in the social sector He evolved his journey as a community facilitator, researcher, social scientist, participatory management Advisor; founder of the not-for-profit organization, and advisory support group. He received high-value training in social impact leadership, fundraising, grant management systems, cooperatives management, networking and coalition, feedback systems, monitoring and evaluations from national and global organizations. He designed, led and managed several community-based models, capacity-building programmes and studies in partnerships and collaborations with national and international organizations. It has developed a strong team and a group of resource persons with proven experience in cross-sector works, community processes, participatory methodologies, systematic institutional engagements, research, assessments, evaluations, capacity building and training.
